UNIX Toolkit for the Atari ST (4.2 compatable user interface)
=============================================================
Hi,
These are the binaries of a Unix Toolkit a friend and myself have been
working on for a year now. We were planning to sell this software
through a large Atari Software house but after months of talks we gave
up (they wanted the stuff changed so much that it would not look like
UNIX anymore - and that was against what we were trying to provide).
So we decided to place the binaries of these programs into the Public
Domain with a number of small restrictions:
You cannot charge anyone who you pass this software onto. If
you are a 'Public Domain Library' which charges for the disks,
we would like a small contribution from you (the amount is upto you),
as we beleive most of these libraries make a profit.
You must pass all files on, unaltered and complete with this
message.
The utilities cannot be used in a comercial organisation without
making a donation to us (the amount is upto you).
What is unique about this software is that it is free and the full
source code is available (for a small charge) for you to modify and
use as you like. The programs were written in 'C'.
If you wish to purchase the source code (which will run on other computers
as well as the ST) please send payment (made payable to 'Andrew B Smith') to:
Andrew B Smith

United Kingdom
Payment is as follows:
$(US) 40 For a cheque drawn on a US bank.
$(US) 36 For cash (notes only please).
20 pounds For UK cash (notes only) or cheque drawn on a UK bank.
For this you will receive the full documented source code (if listed about
4 inches of listing paper !). Please state whether you want 2 500K disks
or 1 1Meg disk.
Hope you enjoy the software.
